Similan & Surin Island
Marine National Parks
Located on the west coast of
Thailand, only one hour north
of Phuket International Airport, Khao Lak is the closest departure point
for the Similan Islands and offers an escape from the crowds to this beautiful
tropical beach in a secluded, unspoilt area.
Opening in 1993 as the first Dive Center
in Khao Lak we offer our extensive experience of diving in the Andaman
Sea. We personally design & refurbish all our liveaboard boats
to exactly meet your demanding requirements - and ours.
Our experienced European
Instructors and Divemasters
combined together with our extensive knowledge of the Similan & Surin
Islands will ensure that you enjoy first class diving without paying a
first class price.
|
Dive one of the worlds top
dive sites
These uninhabited tropical islands
in the Andaman Sea offer you first class diving in one of the worlds top
dive areas. White sand beaches and tropical rainforests are surrounded
by clear blue waters with visibility averaging 30 meters, and a sea temperature
of 27°-29°C.
Beautiful coral reefs, rock formations
with numerous swim-throughs, hard and soft corals - all are home to tropical
reef fish of all shapes, sizes and colours. Turtles, rays, leopard and
reef shark are frequently sighted.
At Koh Bon dive along a submerged
coral ridge often visited by manta rays, and Koh Tachai, with three underwater
plateaus, has probably the most beautiful coral gardens in the area.
Richelieu Rock, a submerged pinnacle,
is renowned for it's visiting whale sharks. The abundance of marine life
together with the unique underwater scenery combine to make these islands
a divers and snorkellers paradise.
Between dives there is time to
relax on the beach or snorkel
on the shallow reefs. In the
Similans, take a short walk through the jungle to visit the National Park
Headquarters on Koh Miang or climb to the top of the strange rock formation
at Ao Guerk for beautiful views overlooking the bay.
Come with us and dive the Similan
& Surin Islands - Sea Dragon
style.

Enjoy the classic trip in the Andaman
Sea onboard our spacious boat with air-conditioned sleeping area containing
individual bunks and two double beds for your comfort. There is a choice
of places to relax, either in our open air dining area or in a hammock
on our large sundeck. Continuing this season due to its popularity,
there will be no night dive on the final evening. Instead, we
invite you to join us for a relaxing evening onboard, starting with
a cocktail at sunset followed by a barbecue on the sundeck. A great
favourite with all our divers, the Andaman draws our customers back
again and again to dive onboard one of the most friendly and relaxing

If you would like to spend more
time diving in the Similan Islands, then we invite you onboard the Mariner
One. Recently renovated, the Mariner specialises in comfort and personalised
service, featuring air-conditioned twin cabins and two air-conditioned
cabins with double beds, an outside covered dining area so you can enjoy
the view as you dine and a large sundeck, partially covered, complete
with sun mattresses, sun beds and hammocks. You have the time to dive
many of the famous dive sites in the Similan Islands, and in-between
dives either relax onboard or go ashore to the white sand beaches.
After the successful introduction of a barbecue dinner on the final
evening onboard the Andaman, we now extend that offer to the Mariner
One. Therefore there will be nine dives during the trip, and cocktails
and a barbecue on the sundeck on the final evening instead of a night
dive. Would you like to keep a permanent memory of your diving trip?
On many departures of the Mariner One our onboard videographer will
be filming both above and beneath the water, and at the end of the trip
you have the chance to purchase this personalised memento of your time
onboard. |

specifically catering to travellers or those of you on a budget, offers
lots of good diving, good food & good company at a very affordable
price. With only eight customers onboard, supervised by two professional
dive staff, we are able to offer a very personalised trip and friendly
service with the emphasis on safety and diving, diving, diving.
During the trip there is plenty
of time for visiting the different beaches and exploring the islands
between dives. And in the evenings, relax on our open-air sun deck.
With no air-conditioning onboard and therefore no generator running
at night, Nangnuan is one of the last boats in the islands offering
total peace and quiet. Bring along your guitar - this is the perfect
