TIME
FOR LIME, unlike many other
Thai cooking schools, is situated right
on the beautiful beach “Klong Dao” on
Ko Lanta Island in southern Thailand.
Our ”scenery” is a three kilometres stretch
of white sand backed by rain forest and
jungle, with local longtail fisherman
boats colouring the bay.
The
location is an open-air kitchen, dining
area & beach bar - a blend of ”raw
& modern” Scandinavian design with
elements of local Thai materials. Many
people say this is the most beautiful
kitchen in the world!

Meet
other food enthusiasts and share the fun
of Thai cooking, while wining and dining,
listening to good music in a relaxed,
friendly and clean environment, sensing
the harmony of the sea – enjoy your time
- you're on a holiday!
Our
workshops are built around hands-on preparation
– you learn by doing & tasting. Our
menu is mainly based on seafood and vegetables.
In our workshops we also include some
FUSION dishes, suggestions for substitute
ingredients, where to buy, and how to
preserve so you can cook back home and
get the right taste. |

the culinary delights of the famous Thai cuisine.

dish you have prepared, you have a range of well designed
plates, bowls and fresh organic materials to experiment
with to create your own 'food

Practical
information:

Workshops include the preparation & enjoyment
of a full course meal, fresh fruit, refreshments,
a good COOKING APRON
and recipes that
you can take back home. We provide free pick-up
service on most of
the island. We also can help you with baby-sitting
services, enquire / inform us when booking
(2 days in advance). Time for lime has been
recommended in six guide books (that we know
of).

At
Time for Lime we
also have 8 clean, simple and cozy bungalows
for rent, set in a peaceful garden.
Our location has a peaceful and personal
atmosphere. TIME FOR LIME is managed
and owned by Junie, an English-speaking
Norwegian.
Bring your laptop and connect to our
FREE Wi-Fi high-speed connection, while
chilling out in your hammock, or on
the beach.
We have a very good breakfast menu and
a small but delicious lunch menu.
We
can help you book, transport/activities
that suits you. .
We are
located on Klong Dao Beach only 2.5
km to Saladan village, where you can
get anything you need. Taxi (tuk tuks)
are easy to get, or rent a motorbike.

Restaurant.
Within 4,5 year of running TIME FOR
LIME, many of our cooking “students”
has commented: “This is the best
and most beautiful food we have had
on Koh Lanta—and even in Thailand.
Why don’t you have a restaurant?”
So, we decided to take that advice and
started our own small restaurant last
year with very good feedback: “Always
fresh and well cooked - boasts fun touches,
and very nice presentation”
You can either dine and wine right on
the beach or sit and over look the sunset
in our new Tree-Top dining area.
If you have a request for a private
party gathering, do not hesitate to
contact us.

TIME
FOR LIME Beach Bar
We have a full bar, with “the best
cocktails on the Island” “The
most awesome Mojitos”. Many contented
sighs have also been heard with finally
getting a decent glass of wine.
What kind of atmosphere can you expect?
We have had MANY compliments on the good
design, great music (cool jazz - easy listening-
latin etc.) friendly staff, and the special
touch. |

View Bungalow (7 bungalows)
• 4 rooms w/ 1 queen size bed
• 3 rooms w/ 2 twin beds
All rooms
have:
• FREE WI-FI connection for your
laptop
• FAN, mosquito net, private bathroom
(no hot water, sorry), working desk,
mini refrigerator and roof skylight
• Private balcony with hammock
Sea
View Bungalow ( 1-bungalow)
• 1 room w/ 1 queen size bed
• Has the same as Garden View
Bungalows but also include:
• Hot shower, big glass sliding
door out to a large veranda (4x3m) with
sitting/working area and Sea View.
Ps.
if you are not an animal lover (I have
adopted 12 homeless dogs, very well
behaved of coarse) we would recommend
you to stay at another place.
